The Camp & Highlights
Encounter Mara Camp is a boutique safari lodge run by Asilia, situated in the heart of Mara Naboisho Conservancy, adjacent to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. The camp features 10 permanent canvas tents (including a family tent and some triple tents), each with an en-suite bathroom, hot-water safari showers, flushing toilets, and a private veranda for wildlife viewing. The communal areas include open dining and lounge tents, a firepit gathering spot, and a wildlife viewing deck overlooking a salt lick. The camp is powered by solar and generator energy, with complimentary laundry, in-room safes, and battery-charging facilities.
