Nestled at the foot of the Ngama Hills on the edge of the Maasai Mara, a 3–5 day stay at Siana Springs Tented Camp offers a serene yet exhilarating safari experience. Here, you’re immersed in a world where the rich sounds of wildlife meet the whisper of spring-fed streams — “Siana” aptly means “plentiful springs” in the Maasai language. As dusk settles, you can reflect on the day’s adventures around the campfire under a canopy of stars, surrounded by lush forest, indigenous vegetation, and abundant birdlife.
This journey is not just about game drives — it’s a chance to connect deeply with nature and culture. Over the course of several days, you’ll explore the Mara’s plains on guided drives and walking safaris, experience sundowners on hilltops overlooking sweeping vistas, and engage with the local Maasai community in authentic lifestyle tours. Whether you seek adventure or tranquillity (or a mix of both), Siana Springs delivers a rich, multi-faceted safari.
About the Camp
Siana Springs Tented Camp (website: siana‑springs.co.ke) is a high-end eco-luxury lodge managed by Oltukai Mara Limited. The camp comprises 38 spacious tents arranged in three secluded wings — the Bamboo, Palm, and Acacia wings — each offering different vegetation settings and privacy. Each tent has an en-suite bathroom with hot and cold showers, flush toilets, writing desks, and comfortable beds.
Guests can dine on the open-air terrace, unwind by the freeform swimming pool, or gather around a night campfire with live guitar music under the stars.
Furthermore, the camp’s location just outside the main Maasai Mara Reserve allows for unique experiences not usually permitted within the reserve — including night game drives and guided walks on the conservancy.
