Heart of the Mara: Keekorok Lodge Wilderness Experience

Overview

Embark on a 3- to 5-day adventure into Kenya’s iconic Maasai Mara, where the sweeping savannas pulse with wildlife, dramatic river crossings, and the timeless rhythms of nature. Over several days you will experience dawn game drives, guided bush walks, cultural encounters with Maasai communities, and perhaps even a hot air balloon ride at sunrise. Each day brings new wildlife sightings — from big cats on the prowl to herds of elephants, graceful antelope, giraffes silhouetted against golden skies, and flocks of birds tracing the Mara’s rivers. This is a journey of immersion, where the wild is your constant companion and every horizon holds a new surprise.

About the Lodge & Highlights
Your base will be Muthu Keekorok Lodge, nestled in the heart of the Maasai Mara National Reserve. The lodge was the first safari lodge to open inside the Mara and enjoys a privileged location along the migration route, so wildlife is often in view from the property itself.  Keekorok offers a range of room types—from standard rooms to luxury suites—with many boasting verandas that overlook the plains or reserve. The lodge also offers amenities such as a swimming pool, spa, multi-cuisine restaurant, and comfortable communal areas where you can relax between excursions.  For full details and bookings, visit the official website: https://keekorok.muthuhotelsmgm.com/. keekorok.muthuhotelsmgm.com
