Tour Plan
Depart Nairobi early morning and embark on a scenic drive southeast through the Athi Plains, watching the urban landscape fade into open savannah. Arrive at Tsavo East National Park by midday and enter a world where red-dust elephants, giraffes, and lions roam beneath vast acacia-dotted plains. After lunch at the lodge, set out for an afternoon game drive along the Galana River, keeping watch for crocodiles basking on its banks and herds of elephants dusting themselves in the ochre soil. As the sun dips low, enjoy golden hour views of wildlife before heading back to camp for dinner and storytelling under the stars.
Rise with the sun for an early morning game drive when predators are most active and the bush stirs to life. Watch as zebras, waterbucks, and buffalo graze near watering holes, and keep an eye out for the elusive lion or cheetah lurking in the tall grass. Return to the lodge for breakfast and some leisure time.
