Luxury in the Wild: A 3–5 Day La Maison Royale Mara Adventure

Overview

Your  adventure begins as you travel into the heart of the wild plains of the Olare Motorogi Conservancy and the legendary Maasai Mara National Reserve. Over the next few days you’ll wake with the dawn, sipping tea as the bush stirs, then head out in open-roof 4×4 vehicles in search of lions, leopards, giraffes, herds of wildebeest, hippos in the river and the rich birdlife of Africa. Between drives you’ll relax on your private deck, enjoy sundowners as the sun dips behind acacias, share a fire-lit dinner under the stars, or perhaps stroll with a Maasai guide across the savannah in silence. Each evening brings a new story — buffalo coming to drink at dusk, a leopard disbanding its dinner-time stakeout, or a skittish warthog vanishing into the long grass. Whether you choose three nights or stretch to five, the rhythm of safari — pulse-quickening drives, moments of quiet with nature, and luxurious comfort under canvas — will leave you exhilarated and refreshed.

In your 3–5 day journey you may also explore optional experiences: perhaps a hot-air balloon flight at sunrise over the endless plains and sweeping herds; or a visit to a Maasai village to experience culture, song and dance; or a full-day game-drive into the heart of the Mara Reserve, picnic in the bush, and return to camp for a lazy afternoon by the pool. Either way, your days will blend bold wildlife adventure with calm indulgence: dawn to dusk game-tracking, midday pause with a book and a drink, sunset drinks and night-drive stories, then soak in silence as the bush hums around your tent.
