Spend a full day exploring Samburu’s semi-arid wilderness. Morning and afternoon game drives offer incredible chances to see elephants bathing in the Ewaso Nyiro River and leopards resting in the acacia trees. Today, journey south past the Equator and through the Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake fringed by lush vegetation and volcanic hills. After lunch, take a peaceful boat ride on the lake, gliding past hippos and vibrant birdlife. Later, enjoy a guided walking safari on Crescent Island where you’ll stroll among giraffes, zebras, and antelope—free of predators, making it ideal for nature walks. Dinner and overnight at your lodge overlooking the lake.

Depart after breakfast for the legendary Masai Mara, one of Africa’s richest wildlife reserves. Travel through the floor of the Rift Valley and reach the Mara in time for lunch. After settling into your lodge or tented camp, set out for a late afternoon game drive. The Mara’s golden plains are teeming with game, from majestic lions to large herds of elephants and elegant cheetahs. As twilight blankets the savannah, return to your camp to enjoy a traditional dinner.

Set off early for a full-day safari in the Mara, complete with picnic lunch in the bush. Traverse different ecosystems, from riverine forests to open grasslands, in search of the Big Five. During migration season (July–October), witness dramatic river crossings and massive wildebeest herds in motion.
